About Friends & Private templates
A private server for people who already know each other needs the opposite of a public community: fewer channels, no application process and a layout that does not ask anyone to moderate. These templates keep the whole server to roughly ten to twenty channels. One general chat, a media dump, a plans or calendar channel, a couple of voice rooms and a music or movie-night category cover most groups; the variants add a games category, a shared photo forum, a travel-planning space or a family layout with a chores and reminders channel. There is no moderator tier because a friend group does not need one, only an owner and an optional admin role for whoever manages the bots. Where the templates differ is in what the group does together, so pick by activity, not by size. Reminders for plans, Temp Voice for a second room when the first gets loud, and Counting or a suggestion channel for the running jokes are the features that fit here.

Frequently asked questions
Why so few channels?
Because a channel nobody posts in is dead weight. A friend group talks in one place and moves to voice; the extra channels exist for things that get lost in the main chat, like plans and photos.
Can I grow one of these into a public server later?
Yes. Merge a community template on top of it: existing channels with the same name are kept, and the welcome, rules and staff areas are added around them.
