A humor community organised by format instead of one bottomless #memes. Entrance is #welcome, #the-rules, a read-only #no-politics-here that explains the one strict rule and how to report a breach, an announcement channel and a host-written #contest-schedule. Memes by Format is the main floor: #image-macros, #video-memes, #reaction-gifs, #low-effort-zone for the ones that would be deleted anywhere else, #copypasta, #niche-and-deep-cuts, #wholesome-memes and #templates-and-blanks for the raw material. Contests run weekly: a Contest Host posts the image in #caption-this, entries go in the slowmoded #caption-submissions, the poll goes in a host-only #contest-voting, and winners and the most-reacted posts land in #hall-of-fame, the read-only Starboard channel. Original Content is the part most meme servers get wrong: #oc-showcase is read-only for everyone except the self-assigned OC Creator role, so reposts cannot land there, with #oc-feedback and #collab-requests beside it. The Lounge has #lounge, #meme-history for the lore, and #pet-tax. Voice is Laugh Track, Watch Together, a Comedy Stage for open-mic nights and AFK. Staff have #mod-chat, #political-content-reports, #repost-tracker, #vetox-logs and a voice room. Ten roles: a staff ladder, Contest Host, Meme Lord from Leveling, Certified Funny for three hall-of-fame appearances, Member, OC Creator, Contest Ping and Muted.

When to use it

Your #memes channel is a wall of reposts, the caption contest gets lost between them, original creators leave because nobody can tell their work from a screenshot, and one political meme a week turns into a fight. This layout sorts memes by format, gives the contest four channels with clear roles, locks the OC showcase to people who opt into the creator role, and puts the no-politics rule in its own read-only channel with a reporting path behind it.
