- 9 categories

- Large
Choose a server, review what will be created or reused, then confirm. Merge keeps what you have; replace rebuilds the server. Vetox takes a safety backup first either way.

Overview
At a few hundred active members, topic channels stop working: a question posted at nine is gone by ten. This layout moves every long-running subject into a forum - #film-and-series, #music-forum, #gaming-forum, #books-forum, #tech-forum, #food-forum, #fitness-and-outdoors, #travel-forum and #creative-forum - so each subject is a list of titled, tagged threads. Main Floor stays small: #main-chat, a slowmoded #newcomer-corner, #daily-question, #polls and #bot-playground. Information has #welcome-desk, #community-rules, an announcement channel with an Announcement Stage for the live version, #role-select, #community-faq and a read-only #staff-applications channel. Trusted Lounge is hidden below the Trusted Member role and carries #early-announcements. Events has a staff-written #events-board, signups, chat, #quiz-night, an Event Hall stage and a voice room. Feedback holds #suggestion-box, #suggestion-discussion, a read-only #help-tickets panel and #ask-staff. Voice is two general rooms, a four-seat Quiet Chat, a Music Room, Join to Create for Temp Voice and AFK. Staff have #staff-announcements, #staff-chat, #helper-chat, #reports-queue, #member-notes, #vetox-logs, #automod-alerts and two voice rooms. Thirteen roles run from Owner through Senior Moderator, Moderator, Helper and Event Host to Trusted Member, Member, Booster and three ping roles.
When to use it
Your topic channels move so fast that answers get lost, the same recommendations are asked for weekly, and long-time members complain that the server no longer feels like theirs. Forums give every subject a searchable thread, the trusted lounge gives regulars a room of their own and early news, and the staff area is large enough that helpers, moderators and admins are not all shouting in one channel.
What makes it different
- Nine subject forums with tags, so a recommendation thread can be found a month later.
- Announcement Stage sits next to #announcements, so big news can be told live and then posted.
- Trusted Lounge is hidden below the Trusted Member role and carries #early-announcements.
- #staff-announcements is read-only for Helpers and Moderators; Senior Moderators post.
- Join to Create gives Temp Voice a home, so busy nights never run out of rooms.
Recommended Vetox setup
Applications
Put the Applications panel in #staff-applications so Helper candidates answer a form and Senior Moderators review it in #staff-chat.
Leveling
Award Trusted Member as a Leveling role reward at a level that takes months, so the Trusted Lounge stays earned rather than given.
Temp Voice
Point Temp Voice at Join to Create so members spin up their own rooms instead of asking staff to add General Voice 3.
Starboard
Send Starboard to #weekly-highlights, which is read-only, so the best posts from nine forums are collected in one place.
Auto-Mod
Route Auto-Mod alerts to #automod-alerts so Helpers see flagged messages without watching nine forums at once.
Questions
Why forums instead of channels for the subjects?
In a large server a channel is a stream: whatever was said an hour ago is gone. A forum is a list of titled threads with tags, so 'best budget headphones' from March is still one click away in June, and a newcomer can read the thread instead of asking the question again.
How do members become Trusted?
Through Leveling. Set Trusted Member as a role reward at a level that takes a few months of normal activity. Staff can still grant it by hand, but the default path is automatic so the tier measures presence rather than friendship with a moderator.
What is the difference between the two announcement surfaces?
#announcements is the written record; Announcement Stage is for the live version, where the Owner talks and members listen or raise a hand. Post the summary in #announcements after the stage ends so nobody has to have been there.
Do Helpers see everything the Moderators see?
No. Helpers see #staff-chat, #helper-chat, #reports-queue, #vetox-logs and #automod-alerts, but #staff-announcements is read-only for them and #member-notes stays with Moderators and above. Promote a Helper by giving them the Moderator role; nothing else changes.
Common mistakes
- Keeping the old topic text channels alongside the forums, so every subject has two homes and both are half empty.
- Giving every Helper access to #member-notes and #staff-announcements on day one instead of keeping those for Moderators and above.
- Making the Trusted tier a manual gift from staff, which turns it into a popularity contest instead of a record of presence.
Consider instead
- Topic-Split Community when the community is under a few hundred active people and plain topic channels still keep up
