Overview
Built for an alliance of tribes on one survival server or cluster - ARK, Rust, Conan Exiles or any map where the tribes that band together are the ones that last. Every tribe keeps a private hall (#ember-hall, #tide-hall, #stone-hall, #thorn-hall) that only that tribe and the Council can read, so this server adds to the tribe's own room rather than replacing it. The shared ground is #longhouse for talk across tribes, #shared-map for base coordinates and landmarks, #trade-post and #resource-ledger for exchanges between tribes and who still owes what, and #taming-and-breeding for creature lines. The Council, one leader per tribe, works in a hidden chamber with #council-votes, #treaty-drafts and an eight-seat Council Table voice room. Diplomacy is its own category: outside envoys hold the Envoy role and can see #embassy only, while signed #treaties are read-only for every tribesman. The War Room holds a #war-plans forum, #border-reports, #raid-callouts and #defense-rota, hidden from applicants and envoys alike. Voice is an Alliance Campfire lobby, two War Party rooms and a Trade Meet room. Applicants apply in #join-a-tribe and wait in #applicant-lounge until a tribe takes them.
When to use it
Four tribes have agreed to stop raiding each other and defend the same coast, but every agreement lives in someone's private messages and the shared base coordinates were posted in a chat that recruits can read. This layout gives each tribe a private hall, gives the leaders a council chamber with a vote channel, keeps envoys from rival alliances inside the embassy, and puts the war planning behind a gate that applicants cannot see.
What makes it different
- Each tribe has a private hall that only its own members and the Council can read.
- Envoys from other alliances see #embassy and nothing else, so diplomacy happens without exposure.
- #treaties is read-only for every tribesman and posted only by Diplomats and the Council.
- #war-plans is a forum with Offense, Defense and Scouting tags, hidden from applicants and envoys.
- #shared-map and #resource-ledger keep coordinates and debts out of the main chat.
Recommended Vetox setup
Applications
Run the #join-a-tribe form through Applications so the Council reviews each applicant before a tribe role is handed out.
Tickets
Put a ticket panel in #embassy so an envoy's request becomes a private ticket with a Diplomat instead of a public negotiation.
Reminders
Schedule a Reminder in #defense-rota each evening with who is on watch, so the rota is read even when the map is quiet.
Embed Messages
Pin the rules of engagement in #alliance-charter with Embed Messages so the charter reads like a document, not a chat line.
Logs
Route Logs to #alliance-logs so the Council can see who joined, left or changed roles across the whole alliance.
Questions
How do I add a fifth tribe?
Create a Tribe role, add a hall channel under Tribe Halls with the same overwrites as the others (hidden from everyone, visible to that tribe and the Council), and give the tribe leader the Council role. Nothing else changes.
What can an applicant see?
The gate channels, #join-a-tribe, #applicant-lounge and the Alliance Campfire voice room. Common Ground, the tribe halls and the War Room are hidden until a tribe accepts them and a Council member gives them Tribesman and a tribe role.
Why is the Council Table capped at eight?
One seat per tribe leader plus the Warlord and a Diplomat. A council call that anyone can join stops being a council call.
Common mistakes
- Giving envoys the Tribesman role for convenience, which hands a rival alliance your shared map.
- Skipping the tribe halls because the longhouse is busy, which sends every tribe back to its own server within a month.
Consider instead
- In-Game Faction HQ You are one faction under one leader rather than several tribes sharing a council.
