Server structure

Overview

This is not a fandom server with a watch party bolted on; it is a watch party with just enough server around it. The whole layout points at one thing, the next screening. #next-up is read-only and holds a single pinned post: what is playing, when, and in which room. #suggest-a-show takes nominations and #vote picks between them, so choosing what to watch is a routine rather than an argument that eats a week. Screening Rooms are three voice channels sized for how these evenings actually go: Main Screening for the whole group, Overflow for when it fills, and Late Show for the people in the wrong timezone who watch four hours later. #live-reactions runs during the screening and is the only channel where untagged spoilers are allowed, because everyone in it is watching the same episode at the same time. #after-thoughts is where the conversation lands once the credits roll, and #missed-it is for the people catching up, spoiler-tagged by default. A short Archive holds #watched-log, one line per screening with the date and who hosted, and #rewatch-requests. Hosts are a small mentionable role that can start events and edit #next-up; everyone else is a Watcher. There is no leveling ladder, no bot playground and no general chat beyond #lounge, because a server with fifteen channels for eight regulars dies faster than one with eight.

When to use it

Watch parties usually live in a corner of a bigger server, where the schedule is a pinned message nobody updates and spoilers leak into general chat within minutes. This layout makes the screening the point: one read-only channel says what is next, nominations and votes are separate so the decision has a shape, and live reactions are fenced into the one channel where untagged spoilers are the agreement rather than a breach.
