Server structure

Overview

A server for readers who are always ahead of the anime. The reading floor is split by how a series reaches you rather than by genre: #official-volumes for licensed releases, #web-novel-talk for the raw serial, and #translation-watch where readers post which fan translation has stalled and which official volume has caught up. Volume Releases is a read-only feed from Notifications plus an open #release-reactions, so the calendar stays clean and the shouting has a home. #series-threads is a forum with one thread per series, tagged Ongoing, Hiatus, Completed or Licensed, which is the tag set that actually matters to a novel reader. Adaptation Watch exists because the anime always arrives eventually: #anime-adaptations tracks what is being animated, #novel-vs-anime is where readers argue about cuts, and #spoiler-line is the pinned agreement about how far the anime has reached, so novel readers can talk freely without ruining it for watchers. Recommendations are three channels by shape, not genre: #long-series-recs for the fifteen-volume commitments, #short-and-complete for the ones that end, and #new-and-unlicensed for the untranslated. Translators and Volume Owners are cosmetic self-roles; Curators keep the series forum tidy and share a hidden staff area with Moderators. Two voice rooms host a monthly volume club and quiet co-reading.

When to use it

Anime servers treat novels as a footnote and manga servers file them under the wrong tags, so novel readers end up spoiling the anime crowd by accident. This layout gives translation status its own channel, splits official volumes from web serials, and puts the anime spoiler line in writing at the front of the server. Recommendations are sorted by how long the commitment is, which is the question a novel reader actually asks before starting fifteen volumes.
