Overview

Anime music has an audience that overlaps with anime fandom without being the same people, and this server serves it directly. Music is split by how people actually listen: #openings-and-endings with a seasonal rhythm, #soundtracks-and-score for the instrumental work that carries most of a series, #composers for the people whose names regular listeners follow, and #insert-songs-and-character-tracks. #this-seasons-music runs each airing season and is the busiest channel four times a year. AMV is the editing half and is arranged as a craft rather than a gallery: #amv-share with a required line stating the source and the song, #edit-critique where a specific question is asked, #software-and-workflow, and #masking-and-effects for the technical problems editors actually get stuck on. #source-and-credit is read-only and states the rule the whole server depends on: every share names the anime and the track, and reuploads of other people's edits are removed. Listening runs together: #listening-party announces sessions and the Listening Room is the voice channel, with #now-playing beside it. #recommendations is split from discussion so a request does not disappear. Roles mark listeners and editors so a critique request reaches people who edit.

When to use it

Anime music gets one channel in a general anime server, where openings, scores and edits compete and nothing accumulates. Editors get reactions rather than critique, and shares arrive with no source or track named, so nobody can find anything again. This layout splits listening from editing, requires source and track on every share, and treats AMV work as a craft with technical channels rather than a gallery.
