Overview

The standard layout for a streamer who runs one channel and wants a home for the people who show up every stream. The heartbeat is the Start Here category: #live-alerts is a read-only announcement channel that Vetox fills from Twitch or Kick, #stream-schedule holds the week, and #ping-roles is where viewers opt into the Live Ping. When platform chat moves too fast, #stream-chat takes the overflow with a short slowmode, #clips collects the moments worth keeping, #stream-ideas is where viewers pitch what to play next and #vod-talk is for people catching up the morning after. Between streams the community lives in General, Memes, Off-Stream Games, Pets and Photos and Music Recs, so the server is not silent on the days you are offline. Subscribers get a hidden category with a lounge, a read-only Behind the Scenes channel that only you post in, sub polls and their own voice room; VIPs get a lounge on top of that. Watch Party, Chill Voice and Game Night cover voice, and the Mod Room, with a chat-reports channel and Vetox logs, is invisible to everyone but the moderators who keep stream chat civil.

When to use it

You go live four nights a week, the same faces are in chat every time, and the platform's own chat vanishes the moment the stream ends. This layout gives them a place that persists: alerts they can subscribe to, a schedule they can check, overflow chat when the stream is busy, and a subscriber lounge that makes the sub button worth pressing. Your moderators get a room to coordinate in and Vetox logs to look back on after a rough night.

Point Twitch or Kick Notifications at #live-alerts with the Live Ping role mentioned, so the announcement reaches the people who opted in.
Self-Roles
Post a Self-Roles panel in #ping-roles for Live Ping so viewers choose whether they get pinged instead of everyone being mentioned.
Auto-Mod
Mirror your Twitch or Kick term filters in Auto-Mod so #stream-chat is held to the same standard as platform chat.
Logs
Send Logs to #mod-logs in the Mod Room so moderators can review timeouts and deleted messages after a busy stream.
Temp Voice
Attach Temp Voice to Watch Party so a second group gets its own room when a co-stream or a sub-only watch night fills the first one.

Questions

Does Vetox post the live alert automatically?

Yes. Twitch Notifications and Kick Notifications post into #live-alerts with a custom embed when you go live, mention the Live Ping role if you choose, and apply a cooldown so a stream that drops and reconnects does not announce twice.

How do subscribers get access to the hidden category?

Give them the Subscriber role. Link your Twitch or Kick subscriptions through Discord's own integration so the role is granted automatically, or have a moderator assign it by hand; either way the Subscribers category becomes visible the moment they hold the role.

What is #stream-chat for when the platform already has a chat?

Overflow. When the stream is busy or platform chat is in subscriber-only or slow mode, viewers move to #stream-chat, which has its own slowmode so it stays readable and is easier for moderators to keep up with.

Common mistakes

Putting the live alert in the same channel as general chat, where it is buried within a minute and nobody sees it.
Leaving the subscriber category visible to everyone, which turns the perk into a locked door people stare at instead of a room they want into.
