- 8 categories
- 33 channels
- 16 roles
- Medium
Choose a server, review what will be created or reused, then confirm. Merge keeps what you have; replace rebuilds the server. Vetox takes a safety backup first either way.

Overview
A community for people who game on their phones and tablets, organised by genre rather than by title because the popular games change every season and the genres do not. The Genres category has one channel each for #gacha, #moba, #battle-royale, #rhythm, #puzzle-and-casual and #strategy, and a member picks the matching roles in #genre-roles so a ping about a new banner or a ranked push reaches the right people. Pulls and Drops is the celebration wing: #pulls-and-drops for the lucky screenshots, #roster-showcase for the account you have built, and #upcoming-banners so nobody spends on the wrong week. Recruiting solves the problem every mobile community has, which is that guilds and clans live inside a hundred different games: #guild-and-clan-recruiting is where leaders post, #looking-for-guild is where players ask, and #add-me is for friend IDs. Events has a staff-posted schedule, signups and a chat, and the Event Arena is a stage channel so an event host can run a tournament final or a community show with the audience listening. The Hangout carries #lounge-chat, #phones-and-tablets for device talk and #mobile-clips. Voice is a lounge, two five-seat Squad Up rooms and the stage. Staff have a hidden room with event prep, a reports inbox and a log channel.
When to use it
Your server started around one mobile game, then half the members moved to the next one and the channel list stopped matching what anyone plays. This layout organises by genre so it survives game churn, gives guild recruiting and friend codes their own place, and puts events on a stage where a host can actually be heard.
What makes it different
- Six genre channels instead of a channel per game, so the layout survives when the popular title changes.
- #guild-and-clan-recruiting and #looking-for-guild split leaders from players so both find each other.
- Event Arena is a stage channel with the Event Host as stage moderator, so a final has an audience.
- #pulls-and-drops has slowmode so a banner day is a stream of screenshots, not a flood.
- Genre and platform roles are self-assigned, so a rhythm-game ping never reaches the MOBA players.
Recommended Vetox setup
Self-Roles
Post a Self-Roles panel in #genre-roles for the six genres plus iOS and Android so pings and device advice reach the right members.
Giveaways
Run Giveaways in #event-chat for gift cards or in-game codes at the end of each event to keep #event-signups full next time.
Temp Voice
Point Temp Voice at Lounge Voice so a third squad gets a room on demand instead of a permanent Squad Up 3.
Starboard
Point Starboard at #pulls-and-drops so the luckiest pulls of the month get pinned by the community.
Welcomer
Set Welcomer to greet in #lounge-chat and point new members at #genre-roles, since the genre roles are what make the pings useful.
Questions
Why genres instead of a channel per game?
Mobile titles rise and fall fast. A genre channel stays busy through three games' lifecycles, while a per-game channel dies with the game. When one title dominates a genre for a long time, add a thread or a single channel for it under that genre rather than restructuring.
How do guild leaders recruit without spamming?
Leaders post once in #guild-and-clan-recruiting, which has a slowmode, and players post what they are looking for in #looking-for-guild. Friend IDs go in #add-me. Keep recruiting out of #lounge-chat and the three channels stay useful.
What is the Event Arena for?
It is a stage channel. The Event Host role can open it, invite speakers and mute the room, so a tournament final with commentary or a community showcase has one host talking and everyone else listening. Squad Up rooms cover normal play.
Common mistakes
- Creating a channel for every game that trends, which leaves a graveyard of empty channels within a year.
- Letting recruiting posts land in #lounge-chat, where they scroll away before the right guild leader sees them.
Consider instead
- Multi-Game Hangout Most of your members play on PC or console and want a channel per major title.
