Single-Series Fandom
One series, arc by arc: a channel per arc, theories, manga-versus-anime and a latest arc locked behind a role.
- 8 categories
- 37 channels
- 13 roles
- Medium
Choose a server, review what will be created or reused, then confirm. Merge keeps what you have; replace rebuilds the server. Vetox takes a safety backup first either way.

Overview
A fandom server devoted to one series, built so that a fan on episode twelve and a reader on the newest chapter can share it without either ruining the other. The story is split by arc: #arc-1 through #arc-6 are renamed to the arcs' real titles, #arc-overview lists which episodes and chapters each one covers, and a member reads no further than the arc they have reached. The newest material lives in the LATEST ARC category, hidden from everyone and unlocked only by the Latest Arc Access role, so #latest-chapter and #latest-episode cannot be stumbled into. Between the arcs sits the debate floor: #theories, #manga-vs-anime for adaptation differences, #character-analysis, #power-scaling and #lore-and-worldbuilding. Members pick a path in #choose-your-path, Anime Only or Manga Reader, and #spoiler-tiers explains what each role may discuss where. Fan works have their own category for art, fiction, edits, cosplay and ship talk, a Theory Night stage hosts long-form debates, and staff keep a hidden room with a channel just for spoiler reports. The series itself is never named in the template, so it fits any long-running title.
When to use it
Your community follows one long-running series with an anime that trails the manga by years. Every week a chapter reader mentions a twist in the general chat, an anime-only member gets spoiled, and the argument about it eats the evening. This layout separates the story by arc, hides the newest arc behind a role, and gives adaptation differences and theories their own channels so the general chat stays safe to read.
What makes it different
- Arc channels let a member read exactly as far as they have watched or read.
- The LATEST ARC category is hidden and opened only by the Latest Arc Access role.
- #manga-vs-anime keeps adaptation differences out of the arc channels.
- Anime Only and Manga Reader roles are self-assigned from #choose-your-path.
- A Theory Night stage hosts long debates without flooding #theories.
Recommended Vetox setup
Self-Roles
Post a Self-Roles panel in #choose-your-path for Anime Only, Manga Reader, Latest Arc Access and Theory Crafter so every member picks their spoiler tier.
Auto-Mod
Enable Auto-Mod on #fandom-chat and the arc channels with keyword rules for the newest arc's character and place names, so a slip is caught before it spreads.
Tickets
Run #spoiler-reports through Tickets so a member can report a spoiler privately and the Lore Keeper can handle it without a public argument.
Leveling
Reward Arc Veteran from Leveling so the hoisted tier marks fans who have stuck around through several arcs.
Starboard
Point Starboard at #fanart-gallery and #theories so the best art and the sharpest predictions are kept in one place for newcomers.
Questions
The template has #arc-1 to #arc-6; what if my series has more arcs?
Add channels as the story grows and merge the earliest ones once nobody posts in them; a series with fifteen arcs usually keeps the last six or seven live and moves the rest into a single #early-arcs channel. Update #arc-overview whenever the list changes so newcomers know which channel is safe for them.
Why is there a separate role for the latest arc if Manga Reader already exists?
Manga Reader says what a member reads; Latest Arc Access says they are fully current. A reader a few volumes behind still needs the LATEST ARC category hidden, and the two roles keep that distinction without a moderator judging each case.
Can this work for a series that is finished?
Yes. Keep the arc channels, rename LATEST ARC to FINAL ARC and keep it behind the role for members who are still watching or reading for the first time. #arc-predictions becomes the ending discussion channel.
Common mistakes
- Naming the newest arc's channel after its title in the sidebar, which is itself a spoiler for anyone who has not reached it.
- Letting manga readers discuss chapters in the arc channels with spoiler tags instead of the hidden LATEST ARC category.
Consider instead
- Anime General Community Members talk about many series and one title cannot carry the whole server.
