Overview

A guild server for one competitive mobile roster, whether the title is a MOBA, a shooter or a battle royale, sized for a main five, a couple of substitutes and the trialists trying to get in. The Guild Hall is the public floor: #guild-rules, #guild-notices, #region-roles and #guild-chat, which is where trialists and friends of the guild can talk. The Roster category is hidden until a leader grants Main Roster or Substitute, and it holds #roster-room for team talk, #lineups-and-comps for the drafts and compositions that must not leak, and #replay-review for match replays. Scrims is organised by region because a mobile guild is almost always spread across time zones: #scrims-europe, #scrims-americas and #scrims-apac each carry the times for that region's block, and a member picks Europe, Americas or Asia Pacific in #region-roles so a ping about a late-night block reaches only the people awake for it; #scrim-partners keeps the contact list of other guilds. Device and Settings is what makes this a mobile template: #device-help for phones, thermals and controllers, and #settings-and-hud for sensitivity, layouts and the settings file everyone asks for. Voice is a Guild Lounge and a six-seat Scrim Comms room. Leadership has a hidden chat, #tryout-notes and a log channel.

When to use it

Your roster spans three time zones and the scrim schedule is a screenshot reposted every day; comps get discussed where a trialist can read them, and nobody can find the settings file. This layout hides roster talk behind a role, splits scrim times by region so pings land on people who are awake, and gives device and settings questions a home.

What makes it different

  • The Roster category is hidden until Main Roster or Substitute is granted, so comps never reach a trialist.
  • #scrims-europe, #scrims-americas and #scrims-apac put scrim times where the right time zone will see them.
  • #device-help and #settings-and-hud answer the two questions every mobile player asks.
  • Region roles are self-assigned, so a late-night block pings only the people who are awake.

Recommended Vetox setup

  • Self-Roles

Post a Self-Roles panel in #region-roles for Europe, Americas and Asia Pacific so scrim pings reach the right block.

  • Reminders

Schedule a Reminder in each scrims channel an hour before its block so the six-seat Scrim Comms room fills on time.

  • Applications

Use an Applications form linked from #guild-rules for tryouts asking for device, region and rank, and record the outcome in #tryout-notes.

  • Protection

Turn on Protection so a compromised leader account cannot wipe #lineups-and-comps and the roster channels in one go.

Questions

Which mobile games does this fit?

Any title with a fixed roster and scheduled scrims: mobile MOBAs, shooters and battle royales all work. The template does not name a game; put it in #guild-notices and the rest of the structure stays the same.

What can a Trialist see?

The Guild Hall, the three scrims channels, Device and Settings and the Guild Lounge voice room. The Roster category and Leadership are hidden. When a trialist is signed, a leader grants Main Roster or Substitute and the roster channels appear.

Why split scrims by region instead of one schedule?

Because pings are the point. A roster spread over Europe, the Americas and Asia Pacific cannot all be awake for one block, so each region channel carries its own times and pings its own role. Cross-region blocks are posted in both.

Common mistakes

  • Discussing comps in the public chat, which is how the next opponent's captain reads your draft.
  • One scrim schedule for all regions, so the Americas block gets pinged at four in the morning.
